    I have a Mobility Controller 650 running 6.3.1.6. I'm looking to have my AP-225 be a Mesh Portal and my RAP-3WN to be a Mesh Point. I've been trying to find a document that steps through this process. I've looked through this document but I can't distill how to make the AP-225 the Portal nor how to make the RAP-3wn the Point. Suggestions or advice appreciated.

    Is not possible since the RAP3 is a single radio (802.11gn) and you need an 802.11an to build the mesh link

    Also note that the AP-22x series do NOT support mesh yet. It is hopefully coming by the end of the calendar year. So if you need a portal it will need to be a different model AP. Currently the AP-22x and 27x do not support 'mesh'.
