Hi everyone.  Tried searching for this particular question but having a bit of a hard time finding the right answer.  I'm curious if it's still best practice to put the APs on their own separate VLAN for communicating to their local controller or if it's OK to have them share the same VLAN that's used for desktops, printers, etc?

    Thanks.

Yep it works but are there any compeling reasons to separate the traffic?

    There are no compelling reasons.

If you had an environment where you wanted to detect wired rogue access points, it is even better to have the APs on a vlan with other devices to detect those.
