    Dear Community - I am almost banging my head against the wall to reduce stress ....

    One of clients wants to operate 12 Sonos speakers, 15 B&O (M5, BS1, BS2, Edge etc..) and 8 Google Home speakers.

    The Sonos integration works fine after some tweaks, the integration of  B&O and Google Home hangs.

    Network environment:

    HPE Aruba 5400r2 with PoE and standard modules, 13 AP303H and FGT 80 as the gateway.

    Currently all items are on the same VLAN, all untagged. Spanning tree is enabled, multicast forwarding active, AP services currently set to "all".

    Broadcast filtering: off

    Multicast transmission optimization: off (with turned "on" the Sonos system would not integrate at all)

    Dynamic multicast optimization: off

     

    Is there anyone who might have had the same difficulties, it would be great information could be shared.

    What firmware version are you running on the 303h?

     

    Since you don't mention a mobility controller, I'm assuming the 303hs are running as Instant APs with a virtual controller embedded?

    Firmware is on 8.6.0.2, yes - it is controlled by a VC.

    Okay, so it looks as though there are two SSIDs: support and ABCDE, both connecting users to VLAN 1 using PSK. 

     

    I see the Sonos AirGroup service created and enabled. You mentioned that works as expected, correct? What SSID do the Sonos speakers connect to, and is it the same as the B&O and Google Home devices?

     

    From the CLI on the AP, you can also use "show airgroup blocked-service-id" to see if there are specific services used by the B&O speakers that aren't being handled. That's typically needed in order to make Sonos devices operate effectively. There may be a custom service to be created.
