    Hi,

In the scenario when the AP's and controller are connected via a WAN,  how can I keep my WLAN operating when the WAN is down assuming that I have a local RADIUS and DHCP server on the site where my AP's reside

Is it possible for the AP's to stay working when in campus mode in this scenario or is my only option to configure them as RAP and use a backup SSID ?

    Thanks

For that, you'd need the APs to send RADIUS requests direct into the local server.

I think that feature was envisaged in 6.1.3.x, but I don't know if it made it successfully into the build or where it's configured.

Maybe one of the other guys knows for sure?

Could you also make the heartbeat timer on the APs ridiculously large?

I'm not sure that will achieve much, especially if the clients move about and want to re-auth.
