Can anyone tell me why I can't turn off DHCP option 252 on my 5.0.4.7 controller?

I go into the DHCP pool context and enter "no option 252". It accepts the input but nothing happens. It is still in the running config and still in the dhcp database.

I have tried lots of different combinations of syntax but nothing changes it.

I treid turning off and on the DHCP server on the controller and still nothing.

    Thanks in advance.

Don't want to leave you hanging here.  Have you opened a TAC case?  If not, I would encourage you to do so.

Have you tried removing it from the GUI instead ?

I didn't think the option is available through the GUI. If it is I can't find it.

This controller is the master in a master/local environment. Some of the locals are not capable of running version 6. I have downgraded this controller until we can purchase new locals that are capable of runnng version 6.

In case anyone is curious, Aruba Support replicated this issue in the lab and recommended a workaround.

Workaround is delete the whole DHCP pool and recreate it without the option.

    The workaround worked.
