Transfer partial / some Licenses from old to new Controller and effect of replacing Controller

Hi All,

currenty my customer has WLC 7030 with 50 licenses (50 AP, 50 PEF, 50 RFP) and 50 AP (mixed of AP-205 and AP-207).

then customer buy new 1 unit WLC 7205 with 25 lic-AP, 25 Lic-PEF, 25 Lic-RFP and 25  units AP-305.

initially, I plan to move all the license of 7030 to 7205, I knew it can be done.

but suddenly they want to split the AP,

WLC 7030 and 5 AP-205  will be move to branch , and WLC 7205 will manage the rest of AP-205 and AP-207  and new AP-305 , total 70 AP.

My question is:

1. is it possible to transfer only 45 of 50 licenses to new WLC?

2. if possible how to do it ?

3. What is the impact to existing AP when I change to new WLC 7205? I assume, I will use existing IP.

4. with CPSec enabled, the AP can be detected ?

thanks

Re: Transfer partial / some Licenses from old to new Controller and effect of replacing Controller

Will the 7030 and 7205 be set up as a master/local, or how is the 7205 being introduced into the network?

More detail on the topology will help with the licensing, as well as addressing the CPSec question.
