    Good Afternoon,

I have tow 7220 and one 7008 controllers, all using

    Software:
    6.5.4.2

I was trying to set the UCC to capture the skype calls that is going in the offices, so far i read many articles and knowledge basses and i set the following settings:

    • Web Skype4B listening port: HTTP 15790
    • gmt Config profile "default-amp" (Predefined (changed))
      --------------------------------------------------------
      Parameter Value
      --------- -----
      Stats Enabled
      Tag Enabled
      Sessions Enabled
      Monitored Info Enabled
      Misc Enabled
      Location Enabled
      UCC Monitoring Enabled
      AirGroup Info Disabled
      Inline DHCP stats Enabled
      Inline AP stats Enabled
      Inline Auth stats Enabled
      Inline DNS stats Enabled

I rebooted the Controller after i completed the changes but still getting No Data Found in the UCC in Dashboard.

Am I using the correct HTTP port?

Is there any other settings that I am amissing here? Please advise.

    Thank you,

Have you seen the Skype for Business Validated Reference Design guide here?  https://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Validated-Reference-Design/Skype-for-Business-VRD/ta-p/508692

If yes, what instructions there did you use to setup?

    Hi ,

Yes i read this one, and many more, but still can't get it to work.

some of those VRDs are similar, and others are different, but it all showing how helpfull is using the UCC to track the skype4B calls.

also, it all showing a very simple steps to activate it:

1- set Web Skype4B listening port to HTTP 15790

2- configure the defualt-amp profile to enable UCC monitoring.

3- create ACL to monitor the Lync calls, Permit TCP 443, and UDP 1024-65535

we are using Lync online, and I have all that configured already.

    What i am missing here?

    Thank you,

The web Skype4B listening port is only for sending SfB SDN data to the controller. Are you doing that?

Thank you for the quick reply!

No we don't use sfb SDN, so i removed that setting.

I think removing that setting did the magic, i start getting the calls information. Thank you all for all your help!

    One more question!

I have the RAP SSID is in tunnel mode, should i get the Skype4B calls that is using that SSID in UCC too?

    Thank you,

Yes, in tunnel mode client traffic flows to the mobility controller for decryption/processing just like a typical campus AP, so should have the same visibility. The only difference in this case between a RAP and a Campus AP is that the tunnel between the AP and controller is also encrypted by an IPSec tunnel for the RAP, otherwise they are similar.

Is it required to reboot the controller after enabling the UCC monitoring?

No. Do you see any UCC dashboard information on the controller? Confirm that it's visible there before troubleshooting whether it's making it to Airwave.
