    I need a help as I am struggling with it since few days and I am not able to find a solution.

     

    For some reasons my 7205 Controller is not able to join to the Aruba MM.

     

    The connectivity between Aruba MM and 7205 controller is not happening.

     

    Controller:
    Aruba Operating System Software.
    ArubaOS (MODEL: Aruba7205-US), Version 8.4.0.4

     

    Aruba MM:
    Aruba Operating System Software.
    ArubaOS (MODEL: ArubaMM-VA), Version 8.4.0.4-FIPS

     

    Controller:
    S* 0.0.0.0/0 [0/1] via 10.252.31.3*
    C 10.252.31.0/24 is directly connected, VLAN1
    C 10.252.31.70/32 is an ipsec map default-local-master-ipsecmap

     

    Aruba MM:

    C 10.252.31.0/24 is directly connected, VLAN1
    C 10.252.31.71/32 is an ipsec map default-local-master-ipsecmap10.252.31.71

    Network communication is working as expected. Both appliances are in the same subnet and location.
    No firewall in between.
    IPSec PSK verified – there is match.
    Logs attached.
    Aruba Controller is not able to join Aruba Mobiltiy Master.

    Why are you using FIPS Version of MM?

     

    ArubaOS (MODEL: ArubaMM-VA), Version 8.4.0.4-FIPS

    No reason for me to use FIPS version.

    I will reinsatll the MM and let you know what is the status.

    FIPS was the issue.

    Problem solved.

    Evrything is working as expected.
