Upgrade a bunch of controllers simultaneously

Hi. I have to upgrade 5x 620 (brand new) controllers  to AOS 6.1.2.4. Is there any way to automatize it? Maybe giving some bootp option in dhcp, and putting the software in a tftp server?

    Same for S3500.

    Thanks a lot

Do you have Airwave?  You can upload the ArubaOS file and schedule it to be pushed at a certain time if you do.

If not, your best bet is the CLI (copy tftp: x.x.x.x filename system partition 0|1).

All the controllers are brand new. It's harder to configure them to be managed by an Airwave than passing the controller wizard and upgrading using the CLI...

If there is not a way to do it without initilizing, like using pxe or something like, maybe doing the upgrade from cpboot could be faster. Don't have to initialize the controllers or configure the network...

The best way is to bring up the controller and upgrade.

The other option to upgrade AOS is using the web interface because a ftp/tftp server does not have to be configured.
