    Hi,

We have an Aruba 3200 controller running ArubaOS 3.4.2.3. I would like to upgrade the OS if possible. As time goes on im getting more familiar with the Aruba system but am happy to get this done by an Aruba support team. Our ArubaCare support apparently ran out this year but im happy to renew if this will cover it. Can someone explain to me briefly what the ArubaCare support does cover and if it would cover this upgrade.

    Thanks

    #3200

The ArubaCare Agreement is here:  http://www.arubanetworks.com/pdf/ArubaCare_Agreement.pdf

Consulting on an upgrade is included..

With AOS 8.x, is there a need to consider ArubaCare for the VMM?  I know the controllers would be good to have ArubaCare, but unsure about the VMM.  Thoughts?

Yes, for TAC and software support. ArubaCare for VMM is just changing the hardware support to VM/software support.
