Good afternoon,

I have a question and hope you can help me.

We have a controller with ArubaOS 6.3.1.8 version and also have a webgateway McAfee. When a user wishes to access the internet, traffic is directed to this webgateway, however the parameters passed to the parent proxy is only the IP address, we would like the controller also pass the user name as it already has this information. Was it possible?
We have 4 SSIDs with different authentication types, one with captive portal, 802.1x with two terminating the controler and WPA2 personal.

Yes, webgateway support Radius acc.

OK. I would try that.

Create a server group with the Webgateway RADIUS information and then assign that server group to the RADIUS accounting configuration in your AAA profile.

There may be more configuration on the McAfee side.

I understand, I will ask the staff which manages the server that makes this change in webgateway as demand came from them.
