Using Aruba APIN0325 as a mesh or bridge with a Netgear Router

I will start out by saying I have a limited knowledge in enterprise networking so bear with me. I am trying to extend my home wireless network using an Aruba APIN0325 that a friend gave me. I am currently using a Netgear R6050 router as the only AP in the house. My friend was unsure on how to configure the Aruba AP as a mesh or bridge with Netgear or if it was even possible. I can currently use it as a seperate wireless network with it's own SSID, but that isn't an ideal solution. Is there a way I can configure the Aruba AP to act essentially as a repeater for the Netgear router? Thanks in advance!

That would not be a reliable solution. If you have multiple IAP-325-xx APs, they will allow roaming between multiple APs. With APs of different brands roaming is expected to be problematic.
