    Hi Team,

One of my customer was planning global rollout of VIA clients on Aruba 8.x VPNC controllers. In this regards there were some queries:

    1. They were dividing into into regions such as US, EMEA, APJ etc. and wanted their clients to be able to dynamically download the relevant profile depending upon the region they are connecting from. Is this possible?

    2. "Some" clients were getting auto-connected to the VPN connection even from their internal wireless network in their office. What could be the issue?

    Many thanks in advance.

    Cheers,

    Manish

    1.  I don't think there is a way to influence profile selection based on source ip address, but it can be done via AD ap-group.

    2.  In the VIA connection profile there is a section called "servers" which determines the server ip address (public) and private ip address of the VIA concentrator.  If the client can reach the private ip address of the VIA server, the VPN connection will not be launched automatically.
