I have 15 edge VLANs (used for AP tunnels) terminating at a mobility controller and its VRRP mate. I would appreciate input on which of the following options would be better and why.

    1) Create all 15 VLANs at the controller and create an LMS IP address on each VLAN. This would also mean 15 VRRP instances or should I switch to using backup LMS addresses?

    2. Terminate the VLANs on a L2/L3 switch, which is already in the network, and then route to the controller. The controller would use 1 VLAN and 1 LMS address (or VIP if I use VRRP).

    3. A better option.

    Thank-you.

Out of sheer ease of config and troubleshooting if something goes sideways I would pick option 2. One DNS entry, one route to worry about...

    +1 on Option 2.
