    I'm about to start a AOS8 virtual installation (no MM involved) and just wondering which interfaces are available for configuration? are they stil named the same as the old system - interface gigabitethernet 0/0/0 etc.

    Cheers

    Hi Thanks, so the naming convention is the same, how many are available? bearing in mind they are virtual not hardware.

    @MDRF,

    Interface breaks down like this, the left side is the VMWare Interface name, and the right side is the corresponding VMM/VMC interface

    Virtual Mobility Master: 2 Network Interfaces, 1 OOB

    Network Adapter 1 = mgmt (OOB)

    Network Adapter 2 = gig0/0/0

    Network Adapter 3 = gig0/0/1

    Virtual Mobility Controller: 3 Network Interfaces, 1 OOB

    Network Adapter 1 = mgmt (OOB)

    Network Adapter 2 = gig0/0/1

    Network Adapter 3 = gig0/0/2

    Network Adapter 4 = gig0/0/3

    DO NOT delete or rename or reorder these interfaces or it will break the internal mapping and the VMM or VMC will have to be re-deployed.
