I want to take advantage of 6.1.3.0 features but not looking forward to install another .0 release
Opers13,
It depends on what services you are running. You should only upgrade to 6.1.3.0 if you need:
- Support for the AP93H
- Support for the Verizon 4G UML290 Card
- Support for the AP104
- Support for IPV6 Router Advertisements
- Support for Radius Accounting for Split-tunneled Remote AP clients
- Support for heartbeats in L2 GRE tunnels
- Support for Even VLAN Pool Assignments
- Support for QOS for VMWARE and Citrix ICA applications
- Support for prioritization for Skinny (Cisco VOIP protocol) version 17 or greater
- Support for wired 802.1x supplicant on an access point
- Support for the VIA client on iPads and iPhones
You should NOT upgrade to 6.1.3.0 yet if you are :
- Running ESI
- Suppressing broadcasts on wired RAP interfaces using broadcast-multicast optimization on a wired VLAN (Fixed in 6.1.2.8), soon to be fixed in 6.1.3.1.
Ultimately, you should contact support for up to date visibility of what to upgrade to based on what services you are running at this time.
