    greetings!

do aruba controllers support WEP(static/dynamic) ASCII passphrase? i'm currently using Aruba 7205 controller but it seems it only supports hex. my users are legacy type devices that are using windows CE.

thank you very much for any suggestions.

In ArubaOS, WEP key can be 10 or 26 hex characters in length.

You can use WPA-PSK or WPA2-PSK if you want to use ASCII.

No, WEP and WPA-PSK are different standards. You would need to ensure that the client settings match the SSID profile settings.

It is recommended to move away from WEP as it is considered no longer to be secure.
