    Hey All,

Have a possible newb question here - the command "wms general learn-system-wired-macs enable" command is not an option for me.  These are the only options available under the wms command:

    (config) #wms ?
    ap                      configure AP mode
    clean-db                Clean Database
    client                  configure client mode
export-class            Export classification data to a file
export-db               Export DB to a file
import-db               Import DB from a file
    reinit-db               Reinitialize Database

We have the RFProtect License (with WIP + Spectrum Monitoring) and we're currently running OS version 6.1.3.5.  Any reason why that command isn't available?

    Thanks,

    Brian

In order to enable this command, you must go into the wms general profile like so:

    (MLIXWC1TOR200) (config) #ids wms-general-profile
(MLIXWC1TOR200) (IDS WMS General Profile) #learn-system-wired-macs

This should do it for you.

Could you please let me know if enabling this command will allow the controller to classify a Rogue device without the need to trunk client VLAN to the APs/AMs?

It will collect all of the wired mac addresses from the controller VLANs, yes.  Those mac addresses are propagated to access points so that they can correlate them to things seen on the wireless network.
