Hi,

I am new to MSR2000, i want to configure my MSR2000 that vlan created in MSR2000 can get ip from Aruba Controller's VLAN.

Controller VLAN address is 192.168.40.1

1st the default vlan 1 created in MSR and when i connect cotroller to MSR port and trying to connect with MSR BSSID i got access to controller after that.

2nd i created Vlan 40 in my MSR1and in IPV4 tab i used only DHCP relay option 82 and uses Controllers Van ip 192.168.40.1,

now going to BSS and created new id named TEST on radio 0 bss 6 and in IPV4 tab i inserted ip 192.168.40.1 in dhcp  rely option 82.

When i connected to BSS "Test" not get any ip scheme form controller.

Have you added the BSS "TEST" into VLAN40 by setting access Vlan40 under the BSS?

The reason VLAN 1 works is because the BSS has been added into VLAN1 by default.

Thanks for reply, I already added BSS "TEST" in Vlan 40 by setting access Vlan40 under the BSS.

I copied same configuration of VLAN 1 to Vlan 40+ BSS .

Can you ping the controller's IPs on VLAN 20 and 40 from the command line of MSR1 and MSR2?
