Hello!

Customer wants to know what the manufacturing date of the access point is. When Access point boots I get this snip through console:

From that I can determine the Built time, but to do a console to all APs is very time consuming. So I am wondering if there is a command I cen issue on controller, that can get me this info from AP? I tried show ap tech-support ap-name <ap-name> but I couldn't find this parameter.

That output from the console is the date when the bootloader was compiled, not the date when the AP was manufactured.

The manufacturing date is written on a sticker on the back of the AP in the format: 20150818 -> year: 2018 month: 08 August day: 18. It is not electronically available as far as I know.

If you know the serial number of the AP, you might be able to find back the order-date. Your Aruba partner or Aruba sales team may be able to help you with this info as well. Please share with them what you need to do with the information as very accurate information may be much harder to get than for example the year.

From the AP type, you can also find the introduction date and end-of sale date.
