We have a problem in Designing Solution to cater to 30,000 APs. Also, Access 400K Clients up to 2M. Currently, We need 15600APs But is Controller Cluster Should Support up to 30K

Please work with your local Aruba representitive. They will start an Q and A game to get the best Design for you.

It seems you also identified the problem. We can't match this kind of request with Aruba Controller.

I don´t say there is an issue with that. Every infrastructure is different and that it is much more easier to work with your local Aruba SE.

    He will ask questions like:

    - all APs on one campus

    - spread over different campus

    - how are clients communicating

    - what type of clients

    - ....

That would be much more easier to talk than to design an architecture by forum threads.

Write me a PM and I will send you the contact information of the local Aruba SE

    all APs on one campus

    - spread over the different campus: single education Network

    - how are clients communicating: Client Communicate with Data Center with IP VPN

    - what type of clients: Windows Tabs

Problem is WLC only support 2K APs Per Cluster only 12 WLC. Then maximum 24K APs isn't it.

only they have Aruba Central option.

Correct, nor is there really a need to have a contiguous 30k AP cluster. There are a lot of factors that come in to a large scale multi-site WLAN design, and a conversation with your local Aruba rep would be the place to start. From there it can be decided the best architectural solution if Central (cloud management) is not a viable option for you.

    Dear Aruba,

unfortunately, we are we had a long discussion with our regional Aruba representer. But they couldn't manage this problem. can we implement more APs per MC_VM with providing more resources. In this solution Customer strictly said they don't need a dependency on any cloud platform or no data outside from the datacenters.

What is the need to have all 30,000 APs under a single MM?

Central Wireless Controller – Single cluster for 30,000 APs
    Stateful Switchover and N+1 redundancy
Minimum 3000 APs per WLC with 80Gbps throughput
    Local/central Switching & Authentication
    Application Visibility & Control
    Site level Grouping/Policy configuration

    This what customer request.
