What is the effect of a client changing band

What would be the effect on a client that is on 5ghz band and because the signal is low maybe the client match change it to 2.4ghz OR

If i client its on 2.4ghz and there is too much noise at the mommen tthe client match decide to change it to 5ghz?

Would this look like a disconnection to the client?  like a romaing? from ap to ap? and the client would not notice it maybe one ping time out?

Woud this look like a disconnection to a client ? like if he is on a voice call the voice will get disrupted for a momment?

Im aware the client speed would change though...

Re: What is the effect of a client changing band

It really depends on the client. Some handle it gracefully and continue conversation, some disconnect, and some blackhole traffic.
