When changing the AP name on the whitelist-db in the RAP in the RAP master controller.

When changing the AP name on the whitelist-db in the RAP in the RAP master controller does it disrupt the user from using the RAP?

Yes, it reprovisions the access point if it is up, and that causes the access point to reboot.
