    I want to know to how recieve notification from wirelless controller  in case of controller /  acces point failuer ???

    The controller itself sends out SNMP traps and syslog when an access point is marked as "Down" but you would need external management software to receive those traps and send an email to you.

    I am gonna use WHAT'S UP GOLD software to recieve these traps and send them to email..

     

     

    I am gonna enter the ip address of the software  .. and version which is 2   ... 

     

    but what about communitu string ???

    Use version 2 to start.  You create the community string on the controller to be whatever you want and make it match on the What's up Gold side.
