    Hi all,

     

    Fairly random question. We are a higher ed deployment, just upgraded to 8.3.0.4 and are having issues with Xboxes not receiving IP addresses after working fine last semester on 8.2.2.0.

     

    Our DHCP will offer, offer, and offer but the Xbox won't take it for some reason. Manual IP entries won't work, either. I'm wondering if this is more than a device issue and if anyone on 8.3.0.4 as seen something like this before?

    What ACLs are in the role for the X-box?

    It gets what we call a "gaming-unsecured" role. We've already worked with TAC and during our troubleshooting moved the allowall so it looks like:

     

    global-sacl

    apprf-gaming-insecured-sacl

    allowall

     

    This seemed to fix the particular PlayStation that we were working on. Doesn't fix our issue.

     

    We also have a test SSID, it is completely open and never touches Clearpass. Consoles can connect to these just fine. I feel like something's breaking in Clearpass, but can't find it.
