Will the app RF will be only be available on 7200 series?

It wont be available on smaller controllers maybe on 3200 ? on maybe new firmwares? or we need to wait for the next generation of those small controller to get app rf?

    Cheers

    Carlos

as for the original question, looking at the new PEF datasheet application awareness (AppRF) is just part of it, i expect it to be part of 6.2 and just available for all current controllers. but perhaps aruba can confirm or deny that.

6.2 is the first release for AppRF.  At this point we're calling the feature "beta" as we continue to tweak things to get them just right.

AppRF is not supported on the 600 controllers, but is supported on all other currently shipping controllers including the new 7200.

The 6.2 firmware is availible for the 600 controllers as well

At least its availible for download.

Dont know if the 620 is included as its EOL or EOS. I think.

The 600 series has not reached end of life.

    It is supported in 6.2.

Note that the AppRF feature doesn't work on these platforms; their CPU subsystems and memory aren't really robust enough to support the feature.

Does this mean that App RF is supported on 3000 controllers also? i mean besides 72xx?

Where can i find documentation of this?

or it will simply be added on the firewall policies rules the app category? like services?

I ll be able to see on the dashboard what apps the users are using?
