    Hi,

Can I integrate aruba controller with Radius Server ( Microsoft NPS Windows Server 2012).I guess that I can but I need to confirm this information.

Thanks in advance for quick response.

    I have Aruba - >2012 & 2008 radus servers.

However recently I have started getting random failures when the 2012 servers are used.  I have read that there might be a difference between NTLM v2 & NTLM V1 radius authentication.

Is there anything we have to do "extra" on the Aruba controller to work with a 2012 server compared to a 2008 ?

Apple phones via Aruba to Windows 2012 seem to work all the time,  Windows 7 Laptops to the same 2012 do not work.

You are talking about two different things:

You say that you get random failures on Windows 2012, but you also say Windows 7 does not work.  Which are the clients having random failures?

    Sorry,

When Windows 2012 NPS servers are used and the clients are Windows 7.

If I do the diagnostic -> AAA authentication test ... it works for the user account but it does not work when the user attempts to authenticate.

What is the error in NPS in the event viewer when this happens?

The #1 reason is that the client had validate server certificate checked, but does not trust the server certificate.

How do you configure your clients...using a GPO or manually?
