Hi all, have set up a working captive portal on a master controller (local dhcp). The vlan is trunked accross to the local L2.  So at the local site clients get a dhcp address on the guest SSID but no captive portal redirect ?  do i need an IP address on the local and the custom captive portal pages ?

    Thanks

Cheers, thought as much, is that because the CPredirect takes place on the local for AP's connected to the local ??

Yes, that's correct. Also keep in mind that you may want to use a different
guest subnet and enable DHCP on the local in case the master is down.
