different version?! cannot find managed device for controller

    hello lads,

     

    we just got 2 7008 and 2 7010 controllers. first 7008 was easy - like always full-setup, managed device because we have a mobility master and so on

     

    now, i do not have the option to set it up as managed device, therefore no master ip, no vlan for uplink. i have no idea why and cannot find anything like that.

     

    could someone please tell me what to do? is it just firmware? or what else?

    Are you using the GUI or the console to set the controller up?  Do you have a screenshot?

    EDIT:Make sure the Controller is on ArubaOS 8.x and above.

    my bad. i just thought that if I get one with 8.x that every one will be. everything is fine - thanks anyway
