So I have a customer, that has a 256 AP master with 2x 128 AP locals.

For management reasons he wants all the AP's connected primarily to the master and only failover to the smaller locals when the master fails.

Currently we've solved this with LMS and backup LMS but we'd like to make use of the faster HA config.

If I create a HA group with the master as active and the 2 locals as passive (or dual), will the controllers be smart enough to device the load evenly over the 2 locals when the master fails?

Is the HA config even possible in this setup? (keeping all the AP primarily on the master)

No, it will not auto load load balance.

    Thanks,
