i need to know if we can change the airwave server name using CLI , its name now is “localhost.localdomain” and i need to change it .

As this is a CentOS Linux, you could log on to the AirWave using the root account and change it by issuing the hostname command.

hostname airwave.domain.xx

is that will affect any function on the server ?

As far as i know, this will not affect the AMP in any way, AMP is basically an application running on top the Linux install.

are you sure from that , because it is installed in a big service provider , so i can't make any disconnection .

do you have any document about this ?

Well, the hostname is only a DNS name for the server. If you are not using DNS for anything today, this should be ok to change.

If you are using DNS in some way, you will need to make appropriate changes to other devices using the hostname.

Answering the question about using DNS today or not, will give you the answer if you will get disconnects or not.
