iPad 2 Slowly stops working on 802.1x network

    I know it sounds crazy, but here is what is happening.

     

    We have iPad 2's on iOS 7 that can join the 802.1x network then slowly it will not load web pages using Safari to the point where it won't load at all.  Once I switch to our regular WPA2 with a password the iPad works fine.

     

    Turning WiFi off on the iPad then back on will make it work again for about a minute until it stops working again.

     

    This worked fine under iOS 6  and below.  I've reset network settings on the device to no avail. This DOES NOT happen on any iPhones that I know of, our 5S and 4S's work okay.  As well as about 200 iPad MInis.  So any other iOS 7 device....

     

    Doesn't seem like an Aruba issue, but wondering if anyone has seen this on their 802.1x network and a 16 GB iPad 2 with iOS 7.  I'be be curious if this is seen elsewhere.

     

    I've attempted debugging on the Device, but nothing out of the ordinary came up when it stopped loading pages...

    Is it just safari?  Have you tried another browser like Chrome?

    I haven't tried another browser. and I will also take a look at the datapath.   Can I look at the datapath for just that user?

    Try "show datapath session ip-addr xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"

    Do you see anything in the "show datapath session" when attempting to generate some traffic?
