    my network is formed for one aruba 3600 and 41 Ap's, did a flash memory backup and restore on a Model 3200 controller, however when you check the controller configuration in 3200, many settings are not passed, settings such as the user role, if I check the configuration with the command "show conf" and the settings appear correct and complete, but if I check the configuration with the command "show run" and the configuration is incomplete.

    Did u remembered to install all licenses (such pef or others)

    before deploying your old conf.

    excellent, thanks,

     

    the right steps were:

     

    First, copy the backup of the flash to the new controller.
    second: flash restore the new controller
    third, copy and restore licenses for the new controller
    restart the controller

    yes just make sure that the licenses have been transfered to a new serial number if you are transferring to a "new" controller.
