If my customer have 2 Aruba 3600 and 128 APs license for each and running old ArubaOS which there's no Centralized Licensing. And we will plan to purchase a new aruba 7210 as new master and enable the Centralized Licensing. The old 3600 as local controller. If my customer total have 256 APs, can I transfer the old 3600 license total 256 APs to the New 7200 which enable Centralized Licensing?

    #7210

Please work with your Aruba SE to discuss license transfers.

Centralized licensing does not transfer the licenses, it simply pools them.
So if they're on your 3600s, they would have to remain part of the topology.

Your Aruba SE will be able to help you with that question.

Legally you can only transfer licenses on your own for hardware RMA purposes.

Please reach out to your Aruba or partner SE.
