    On our Arubaos 8.5 dev service I've been configuring  an Airgroup Profile with a list of vlans on which to ignore airgroup devices.

     

    I really . can't remember doing anything but I seeem to have an extra config in "Airgroup Dissalow Role" -see attached file.

     

    Looking at the config at the cli level in my AirGroup profile I've got

    .....

    service "UoY Plex"
    service "UoY-appletv"
    service "UoY-dial"
    service "UoY-sonos"
    disallow-vlan type servers service ""
    disallow-vlan 668 type users service ""
    disallow-vlan 668 type servers service ""
    ......
    disallow-vlan 3892 type users service ""
    disallow-vlan 3792 type users service ""
    disallow-vlan 499 type users service ""
    disallow-vlan 3891 type users service ""
    disallow-vlan 4066 type users service ""
    disallow-vlan 940 type users service ""
    disallow-vlan 3791 type users service ""
    disallow-role "" type servers service ""
    enforce-registration
    cppm-profile "UoY-ClearPass"

     

    I can't delete this entry either via the gui or the CLI. Is it  supposed to be there as a placeholder ? On our prodn 8.4.x system this line doesn't appear.

    Attempting to delete it fro . the CLI gives

    So is this just a placeholder  for real bits of configs  thats appeared in 8.5?

    BTW It's a real pain having to modify config stuff on the mobility master when you have to look at the config on another system to see what to type in.

    I see this, as well.

    I've had massive AirGroup issues on 8.3 code, so I'm not sure if that has been causing some of the issues or something else.
