In our via-auth profile we have have two servers in our server group. A radius server and the internal. It won't try the second server when connecting. What do I need to change to enable the connection to fail through to the second server?

Fail-Through only works with 802.1x when you are terminating 802.1x on the controller.  It does not work with VIA, even though it can be selected in the server group.

The article here:  http://community.arubanetworks.com/t5/Controller-Based-WLANs/How-does-dot1x-termination-work/ta-p/178566 does not say it the way I did, but it only works with termination and 802.1x.  It does not work with VIA.

So what is our option? We had VIA configured in the past where both internal database and a RADIUS server could be used.

After upgrading our controllers we lost the ability.

TAC thought they fixed it yesterday but they ultimately just flipped it from Radius accounts not being able to connect to Internal accounts not being able to connect.

If you are working with TAC continue working with TAC and escalate if you need to.  Hopefully you let them know that this worked before?  If yes, they would be able to tell you if it should work and if anything changed.
