    Hi Team,

We have converted the IAP to CAP and AP shows in the MD but it comes up in default ap-group. But we have mentioned a different AP-group in the provisioning rule and the same is present in the MD [8.6].

    Thank you in advance!

Can you share the provisioning rule? You can also use an AP whitelist to put the AP in the correct group.

I'm not 100% sure, but you might have to import the Activate AP whitelist into the controller. You can have automatic whitelist sync set up between the controller and Aruba activate. I'm not able to get into my lab to check right now, but maybe you could try that?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

Do we have to use "import the Activate AP whitelist into the controller" even when CPsec disabled?

AP-Group assignment is not supported , when using IAP to CAP provisioning rule

You can create a ap provisioning rule in the controller , that can dynamically place Aps in the desired AP-Group based on the following conditions: ap-type , ip-range, network

    Hi,

Thank you so much for your response. AP-Group assignment is not supported , when using IAP to CAP provisioning rule : do we have any document which updates the same so i can share it with end user.

    Thank you!

    Spoiler
    Hi Victor,

Thank you for your response. But end user is able to map the ap-group in the rule.

    Thank you!
