    Hi,

I see this syslog message on my controller for this one AP (7205 ArubaOS 6.5.1.3) :

    KERNEL(xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx@172.16.0.46): [1819675.011571] FWLOG: [119693754] WAL_DBGID_DEV_RESET ( 0xc01d, 0x3cb )
    KERNEL(xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx@172.16.0.46): [1818664.568122] FWLOG: [118658186] WHAL_ERROR_RECV_STOPDMA ( 0x0, 0x1 )
    KERNEL(xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx@172.16.0.46): [1818668.860720] *** Incompatible host/target HTT versions!
KERNEL(xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx@172.16.0.46): [1818668.860729] *** Warning: host/target HTT versions are different, though compatible!

I can't find out what mean this message. I checked syslog guide for ArubaOS 6.5.x.x unfortunately without sucess. Do you know what this message mean?

    Thanks & best regards,
    Jan Masin.

     Answer from aruba support team:

    • All processes are running fine on controller. However, there is one restart on Bluetooth relay process:

    Process Monitor Statistics

    --------------------------

Name                          State            Restarts Allowed  Restarts  Timeout Value  Timeout Chances  Time Started

    ----                          -----            ----------------  --------  -------------  ---------------  ------------

    /mswitch/bin/ble_relay        PROCESS_RUNNING  -                 1         240            3                Fri Jul  7 20:56:24 2017

    • Same issue has been reported before to the development team and issue has been fixed in firmware version 6.5.1.7 and this firmware version is going to be released next week. I will keep you posted.

    Next action:

    • Suggested to upgrade the controller to 6.5.1.7

    My experinece:

Looks like good after upgrade (from 6.5.1.3). The log messages are gone.
