what is the best way to migrate coniguration from 3200 aruba controller to 650 aruba controller , i think that it by take backup from flash , but what is the best practice to achieve that so that two configuration are identical in two controllers

Any Suggestion , what about master / local mode  configuration ???

You can do it two ways:

1- Backup and restore:

- Backup the flash on the 650

- copy the flashbackup.tar.gz file off of the 650 controller

- copy the flashbackup.tar.gz file to the 3200 series controller

- execute the backup restore on the 3200 series controller (do not reboot)

- paste in the licenses for the 3200 (you cannot reuse the 650 licenses)

- reboot without saving

- You will still have to console into the 3200 and fix the interface configuration, because the 650 interfaces do not match the 3200 configuration

2- You can make the 3200 a local to the 650, but the local configuration like interfaces, dhcp scopes, timezone will not be copied to the 3200 and you would have to configure those manually.  You would have to ensure that the 3200 already has the proper licensing ahead of time, otherwise the unlicensed commands that get pushed from the 650 will be ignored.

thanks fo your fast response but in your response you reflect the situation i want to copy configuration from 3200 to 650 so in master local method we want to set 3200 as master and 650 as local is that possible ??

You need to set the 3200 as a local to the 650 for the global configuration to be copied from the 650 to the 3200.

but i want to glabal configuration to be copied from 3200 to 650 

I apologize.  I have it completely backwards.  Yes, you need to make the 650 a local to the 3200.
