wildcard cert for microsoft supplicants?

Hi guys,

Just checking  Is microsoft supplicants like windows 7/10 supporting wildcard cert for 802.1x authentication?

I got an wildcard cert imported to my NPS server and it seems like is not working. all the users authentication is failed. The authentication is wokr once i changed it to private cert.

Anyone faced this before?

Thank

Re: wildcard cert for microsoft supplicants?

No, you should never use a wildcard certificate as a RADIUS cert.
