Unexpected stm (Station management) runtime error at handle_assoc_req

    Hi,

     

    arubaOS 8.4.0.2  vMM , 2x 7210 , 520 x ap314, 20 x ap 315,  2x ap325

    700 clients

     

    We see these error messge on error log :

     

    <stm 304055> <ERRS> |AP XXXXX@IPADDR stm| |ap| Unexpected stm (Station management) runtime error at handle_assoc_req, 7282, sta_mac:MACADDR, in_drvr_mgmt:0

     

    not the same ap , not the same mac , always on AP314.

     

    (10 to 15 per hours)

     

    and two time  :

     

    <stm 304001> <4055> <ERRS> |stm| Unexpected stm (Station management) runtime error at gsm_publish_sta, 338, gsm_publish_sta failed. Error=74, error_in_publish_by_non_creator

     

    I search here and on the Internet but no clue.

     

    Did you have an idea about how to solve these error ?

    The "Unexpected stm" error is fairly generic and you might have to open a TAC case to get to the bottom of it. https://www.arubanetworks.com/support-services/contact-support/

     

    Alternatively, if you can, please upgrade to ArubaOS 8.4.0.3.  It has a lot of fixes for alot of things and it might solve your issue.
