    Openflow Custom pipelines are now supported in ArubaOS 16.04 for the 2930, 3810 and 5400 v3 cards. The attached is a bit of an introduction to this technology. The examples are based on the Aruba SDN controller and includes  Clearpass integration. However Custom pipeline support in the switches is utilised by other SDN controllers such as Faucet  http://faucet.nz/

     

    Faucet may be familar to this community as it was originally developed by REANNZ and is very focussed on education networks.
