isolate-user-VLAN and hybrid tagged ports on 3Com A5500 HI

    Hi,

    we are trying to configure private VLANs on a 3Com A5500 HI switch. The router is on a hybrid tagged port and does not receive the pakets in the isolate-user-VLAN but in the secondary VLAN. The switch seems to not put the outgoing pakets in the correct VLAN.

    Configuration:

    vlan 208
     description pvlan-test-208
     name pvlan-test-208
     isolate-user-vlan enable
    
    vlan 3998
     description iso-208-test
     isolated-vlan enable
    
    interface Bridge-Aggregation1
     description gate-1
     port isolate-user-vlan 208 promiscuous
     port link-type hybrid
     port hybrid vlan 1 to 4094 tagged
     link-aggregation mode dynamic
    
    isolate-user-vlan 208 secondary 3998
    ​
    We do not have this issue on newer FlexFabric switches.

    Does the 3com A5500 support isolate-user-VLANs on hybrid tagged ports?

    To enable users in the isolate-user-VLAN to communicate with other networks at Layer 3, Configure VLAN interfaces for the isolate-user-VLAN and the secondary VLANs, and configure the gateway IP address for the isolate-user-VLAN interface (you do not need to configure IP addresses for the secondary VLAN interfaces).

    We have the issue on layer 2, not layer 3. As soon as the port is configured as above it cannot talk to other endpoints in the same PVLAN.
