HPE FlexNetwork 5510 Lifecycle Status

  • 1.  HPE FlexNetwork 5510 Lifecycle Status

    Hi all,

    does anybody have a reference regarding lifecycle status of 5510 Switches? I thought they were end of sales with the 5520 model replacing them. However, on the HPE Networking Switch Selector page, they are still listed - the 5520s are not. I also do not find a corresponding EoS/EoL announcement on the Aruba page for this product. The only thing i see about it is that in IRIS the 5510 are gone and the 5520 are configurable...

    Does anybody have some official information on this?

    Also, considering the recent introduction of:

    • HPE FlexNetwork 7500X Switch series
    • HPE FlexNetwork 5140 EI Switch series
    • HPE FlexNetwork 5130 XI Switch series
    • HPE FlexNetwork 5520 HI Switch series

    What will be the destiny of switch series like:

    • HPE FlexNetwork 7500 Switch series
    • HPE FlexNetwork 5510 HI Switch series
    • HPE FlexNetwork 5130 HI Switch series
    • HPE FlexNetwork 5130 EI Switch series
    • HPE FlexNetwork 5500 EI/HI/SI Switch series
