    Hi,

When I enable "password configuration-control" on an ArubaOS switch managed via central I'm unable to SSH to the switch. As soon as I disable "password configuration-control" I'm able to SSH to the switch again.

A message appears when enabling "password configuration-control" saying that web management and the REST api will be disabled when it's enabled. Not sure if this is related but mentioning it anyway..

    Has anyone else encountered this?

    Cheers

Where are you configuring this in Central?

Good point. I'm not. I'm doing it via the CLI in support mode as Central doesn't support the functionality (and TAC advised me to).

I'll recreate the post in the wired forum. Thanks for the reply.

I would follow this as well. It didn't work for me until I set the minimum password length to 8. Default is Zero, but needs to be at or higher than the complexity elements: https://community.arubanetworks.com/blogs/esupport1/2020/09/30/password-control-configuration-pvos
