I would follow this as well. It didn't work for me until I set the minimum password length to 8. Default is Zero, but needs to be at or higher than the complexity elements:

Good point. I'm not. I'm doing it via the CLI in support mode as Central doesn't support the functionality (and TAC advised me to).

Hi,
When I enable "password configuration-control" on an ArubaOS switch managed via central I'm unable to SSH to the switch. As soon as I disable "password configuration-control" I'm able to SSH to the switch again.
A message appears when enabling "password configuration-control" saying that web management and the REST api will be disabled when it's enabled. Not sure if this is related but mentioning it anyway..
Has anyone else encountered this?
