That error is fairly generic and could mean a whole host of things.  If you can describe:

    - What AOS version this is

    - What AP this is

    - What client type this is

    - What you are experiencing

We might be able to help.

    How often are the disconnects?

Are the smartphones on 2.4ghz or 5ghz when they disconnect?

Two to three times a day, they are in 5 Ghz

Was this ever resolved?  I am seeing the same issue.  AOS 8.6, AP 305, 2-3 times per day, all users get disconnected.

You should open a technical suport case with HPE Technical support so they can look at your entire logs and give you an idea what your problem is.  There are many reasons for disconnects and this thread was opened two years ago, so the reasons and solution could be patched or much different than what you are observing.

    cjoseph,

In regard to both clustered controllers having their network ports bounce all at the same exact time, could this be due to something with keepalives between the controllers?    I will submit a ticket but just curious if you had any thoughts.

    Kind Regards,

Not keepalives.  I would check to see if there are any spanning tree events in your network.

To respond to your statement, I did check the controllers and there were topology changes early this morning around same time users were getting disconnected from wifi.  Im guessing this is related.
