    Hello,
In order to limit the electrical consumption of the APs, we would like to program their extinction at night or at least limit the power of transmission to the maximum, what configuration do you recommend?

There is no power schedule option in the aruba environment. You can schedule when an SSID turns on, and then turns off, but not the power of the AP itself.

Looks like you need NetInsight to make it work https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_87_Web_Help/Content/arubaos-solutions/access-points/gren-ap.htm

Energy-efficient ethernet is available too: https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/ArubaOS_85_Web_Help/Content/arubaos-solutions/access-points/conf-eeet-etls.htm

    Marc,
How many APs are you talking about? Are all of your APs powered from PoE provided by manageable switches (vs injectors)? If so, you could write a python script that logs into the switch and disables/reenables PoE on a schedule.
    Thanks,
    Brad

In general, I see the approach of scripting/scheduling your switches to remove the PoE power from the AP ports as a good approach as it will reduce the power to zero.

thank you for your answers, as we do not have NetInsight, we will study the possibility of turning off with POE on switch.
