ACMA 8 Study Guide, Help me understand this practice test answer.

    I'm studying for the ACMA 8 exam using the offical Study guide.  I do not agree with one of the "correct" answers to the practice test.

     

    Question 11.

    I disagree that answer A is correct. Becuase, on page 39 under the Mobility First Architecture section is shows the following table. Which clearly shows both the MC and MM as being avialable as virtual appliances. Obviously there are hardware appliances available for the MC's also.

    So what is the correct answer. Can anyone explain why answer A is correct?

    AOS8 has had Hardware MM since December 2018.

    *Deployed as a VM or Hardened server appliance.

    Is there a list available that cleary shows on what hardware Mobility Master can be installed?

    Only on Hardware Mobility Master for me... (Aruba/HP Product)

    From my understanding is that Aruba does not have a physical device for MM but instead, you can use a physical server or use a VM

    Hardware MM has been around since December 2017

    Notice that the question is asking about a Master Controller, not a Mobility Controller. 

    Master Controller (version 6.x) cannot be installed on a virtual device. Answer A is correct.
