Hi,
We're having a stange issue with a particular video intercom system connected to a VLAN on a 2930M stack running 16.10.0025 with ARP requests.
We have two network taps at each end of the communication (door bell / camera and display station). When you press the door bell the unit sends an ARP request out, however the ARP never makes it to the door station plugged into the same switch. Note in some cases the ARP does make it to the other end however this is ramdom (inconsitent).
Note there are other "chatty" (different) devices on the same VLAN that ARP out (requests) that come thru on the ports.
The video intercom system is NOT "chatty" (only sends) trraffic when you press the bell. (there are no "keep alives" between devices.
One other note, if we continuous ping the devices they continue to operate with out any issues.
It seems (based on the traces) that the switch isn't forwarding the broadcast. Also we have the command "loop protect" enabled on all "end ports"
