It depends on your objective(s). More speed? Some clients are not more efficient at 40mhz and it ends up wasted or your resources do not require 40mhz channels to perform adequately.
If your clients support DFS channels, you should have "pulled the trigger" a long time ago. If they don't, with 5aps you could still have an overlapping channel (or interference from neighbors) which could decrease performance.
